「はたらく細胞」英語字幕付き上映が決定 Shochiku Multiplex Theatres to screen CELLS AT WORK! with English subtitles at its theaters in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka
One of the major multiplex theater chains, Shochiku Multiplex Theatres, will screen CELLS AT WORK! by Hideki Takeuchi with English subtitles starting January 31, 2025, at its theaters in Tokyo (Shinjuku Piccadilly),Kyoto (MOVIX Kyoto), and Osaka (Namba Parks Cinema).
CELLS AT WORK! is a live-action feature film based on the immensely popular manga series, which has sold over 10 million copies. It’s a thrilling and entertaining masterpiece that will make you laugh, cry, and even learn something along the way!
The film stars Mei Nagano as Red Blood Cell and Takeru Satoh as White Blood Cell (neutrophil).
Its star-studded cast also features Mana Ashida, Sadawo Abe, Koji Yamamoto, Riisa Naka, and many more!
Directed by Hideki Takeuchi, one of Japan’s most renowned hit-making directors (Fly Me to the Saitama, Thermae Romae), the film’s action sequences are choreographed by Takahito Ouchi (Rurouni Kenshin, Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho).
